  1. Agreed. The West, but particularly Europe, thought being friends would change everything when the Soviets fell. Russia didn't even change. It was right back to expanding once it finally stabilized slightly with the Czechs and Georgian wars. Then Ukraine in 2014... And yet NATO didn't react. So then Putin went to cement his legacy, and if the Ukrainians didn't fight tooth and nail NATO probably still would have hardly reacted. Russia isn't the only country like this. Yet they are the worse ones at the moment. When a dog becomes mean, and turns on you. You have no choice, but to put it down. Lest it attack again.

  2. Yeah I don't know why anyone expected Ukraine to not attack Russia. I get the thinking. Russia actually hasn't fully mobilized for total war. They have a huge man power advantage. Yet Ukraine should be able to do whatever the fuck it wants. Only weak countries don't have borders. America wouldn't sit there, and send divisions at highly fortified lines just to get pinned down by mines, artillery, helicopters and drones. So why expect Ukraine. I actually said during the counter offensive that they should have taken a page out of Desert Storms play book. Go up and around the lines, and then back down to reconnect. I was told that would never work. Well I think it would have worked similar to this. Definitely a lot better than what they actually did last year.

  3. America didn't miscalculate. America was warning Europe to step up since Obama. Ukraine wanted to join NATO after getting rid of their Russian puppet. Russia has no say in what other countries do . I would argue Russia clearly is the one who wasn't paying attention. What is hilarious is we now know China isn't their ally. They are literally milking Russia hard, because Russia has no leverage to make any type of demands. They played their cards building their half of the pipeline showing desperation. This war is about Putins legacy. About making him a great leader who brought back Russian supremacy. Instead he made NATO so much stronger, and woke the West up. America gets to bleed Russia with out dated weapons. China and Russia are hilarious. They act like America is pulling all the strings when the reality is their actions push countries to Americas interests which is the lesser evil, and only other country that can stand up to them. Crazy that they don't get that. They don't want to deal with America either, but the choice is easy.
