  1. Africa is poor due to weak institutions, and governments that are corrupt. They take zero responsibility, and are regressing. They also cannot work together inside the country with tons of conflicts between all the cultures.

  2. I always knew they were sketchy. One issue that I guess might be true? I have read there is a backlash with Solar at the moment for those who use regular power. I'm NOT an economist, but long story short solar is driving up the prices of regular power. Basically they are saying conventional owners are subsidizing solar in their areas. If true that I can see being a real issue. Not really sure why as logically to me less demand shouldn't drive up prices.

  3. Or... People are negligent, and a fire started which got out of control which people were not prepared for. While most fires are started by humans these days. What isn't natural is how long a fire hasn't happened on the island. Seriously in a natural ecosystem fires are suppose to happen yet we stop them ahead of time. I'll need more proof than it benefiting some that the fire was intentionally started.

  5. If not the US then it would be someone else. We live in the most peaceful times and the alternatives don't seem great to me. If EU could get their shit together maybe? Some of the Asian countries like Japan. What I hate about statements like yours though is that you pretend one - people aren't as corrupt or worse. Yet more importantly the global world isn't benefiting and that people inside those countries have zero precedence for themselves. You act like they are helpless children and that simply isn't true. Funny how many of the countries listed are and were not corrupted. Libya, Syria, and Iraq. Anyway if you want Putin and worse - the CCP. To rule the world instead then I really do pity you.
