  1. A friend and I saw something like this in Groton CT in about 2007. I remember seeing the light and shape and was like WTF? So we stopped and turned off the car. It was standing still for a half a minute before doing crazy acceleration. There was no noise yet you could see the silhouette on a dark night. So I was confused. Either it was massive up high or silent AF. I just know it went from floating above us to going over the horizon and towards the Atlantic. I won't speculate yet both saw it. The light in the middle was like an infrared light. Red.
