  1. Tilt Powered VTOL is the future due to retreating blade stall being such an issue for traditional helicopters, among other issues like super sonic blade speeds. I wonder when we will be seeing hybrid craft with electric motors. A lot easier to rotate everything if it is electrical. Not many companies working on huge electric motors for aircraft that I know of. We definitely need some stupid powerful but light motor for them There is a motor that supposedly has 800bhp at 52 pounds by EHelix. That doesn't include cooling so yeah, but try to scale that up, and we can have interesting craft. As you said we have killer processing power for insane flight. Look at Space X flight systen while the craft was landing the rocket last test. The flight surfaces were vaporizing, and it still landed the massive booster after a bunch of other malfunctions. Outstanding.
