Yeah and unless technology changes something most first world countries aren't willing to destroy themselves and pay their citizens crap wages to extract it. We buy from China because why even try to compete when they are willing to sell it for cheap. Once the market and politics start to play a role then we will mine our own but right now it doesn't make sense. Can't compete with basically slave workers who don't have to worry about regulations.

Good will for Isreal isn't bottomless. They need to tread lightly. I totally get why they've hit some things in Syria. Now it has changed. Their loser PM better see that, because I am not sure he does. He's not good for Isreal long term, and I think is only looking out for himself as conflict allows him to stay in power. Hope the new leaders in Syria aren't lunatics.

Honestly as far as I'm concerned. Palestine has shown their true colors. They attack their moral enemy. I get that. They are basically at war, and have a blood fued. Isreal is not completely blameless with their heavy handedness, and settling shenanigans. However what do the Palestinians first do when they capture cities, and have a victory? They drag soldiers bodies through the street. They start killing civilians in their homes. Get out their cameras, and gang rape women. Yet violating them in such a brutal manner isn't enough is it? No they cut off the limbs, and decapitate them, and drag their corpses as trophies. They take children, and cut their heads off in front of their mothers. Children damn it. All while praising Allah in fanatical glee. A culture that can produce such monsters? A peolple who produced, fed, housed, and supported them either directly or indirectly. They turn a blind eye to their antics, and hate speech. They try justifying these actions that others made them do it. Well a culture like that gets no pity from me. Some cultures just don't deserve to exist. Better to be assimilated or nationalized. Isreal on the other hand cannot exist as a peaceful country, due to the sheer hate of it just existing. It is an affront to the Arab world. So I understand why they do what they do.

@imsneedandifeedinseed NATO was never planning on invading Russia seriously. Sure militaries had plans, but all militaries have plans if invaded or to invade other countries. It is what the commanders and staff do in their free time. The US probably has plans somewhere to invade the God damn Vatican. Putin went to war not to secure anything. He went to war for his own legacy, and used lies to do it. Much like the US with Iraq. Putin wanted to be seen as a great hero who brought back Russia to its former glory. Spreading far from Belarus and Ukraine to down in Central Asia with the Stans. That is what the war is about. They already secured their warm water port they desperately needed. The only set back was the fact Ukraine wouldn't fold, and how badly corrupt the Russian became. Then how that corruption ruined along with poor planning utterly destroyed any chance for an easy victory. Russians keep fighting, because Russians like Americans will do whatever the government demands. Russia dug their own gave with NATO. Any fool can see that. Their history and current behavior has seen that if you are near Russia you better have a good military alliance or else you will eventually be invaded by Russia for nothing.

I agree with the Vegan hippies. We need to get back to nature. This means conquering those who have the water, and enslaving their children while decimating their lineage! May the strongest culture or tribe win. I am siding with Eygpt. Seize the hydro! Anyway if you are an engineer? Try to invent a dam buster. Eygpt and Taiwan would pay handsomely for a weapon that is capable of destroying these massive dams without nukea.

I honestly don't think so. Not as bad. They are learning. China out numbers US by 4. That means US needs to hit hard, and smart. China doesn't have to travel as far. US has secrets though. I will say that. US also has the USMC gearing up to make the Pacific a living pain for any ship. Going back to being a force that hits hard, and quick. Not Army 2.0. The Army also is gearing up for a Pacific war with anti ship weapons. If Trump was actually savy geopolitically I'd say we would have this. We need allies, and he is just making that hell for everyone.

@talknight2 Between this with India and China making even more enemies with the islands surrounding it? China is very vulnerable and need to slow their horses with the bullying. Forgot what the alliance in the South China seas is called since there are a few, but it is backed by the US which has the same game plan. Choke China and block the oil. Wonder how the US is doing in the (XYZ) Stans.

Of course it will. Nothing wrong with trying. I should hold off on watching for like a year. Then go back to em all one by one to see how people got things right, and wrong.

Hasn't the DoD made statements about this too though? Oh man Russia would be dumb to do that. No NATO forces fighting in Ukraine, but doing something like that very well could see NATO bringing air and naval might. Especially against the few ports, ghost fleet, and certain other Russian infrastructure.

The irony is real when I see Indians on YouTube blame the British for their naked street kids, slimy and shady antics from the smallest vendor ripping tourists off to the highest buisness men like Aldani - AND their government being corrupt. Even though it has been like 80 years! Maybe the Pakistani learned to blame others from India.
