  1. ​ @imsneedandifeedinseed  NATO was never planning on invading Russia seriously. Sure militaries had plans, but all militaries have plans if invaded or to invade other countries. It is what the commanders and staff do in their free time. The US probably has plans somewhere to invade the God damn Vatican. Putin went to war not to secure anything. He went to war for his own legacy, and used lies to do it. Much like the US with Iraq. Putin wanted to be seen as a great hero who brought back Russia to its former glory. Spreading far from Belarus and Ukraine to down in Central Asia with the Stans. That is what the war is about. They already secured their warm water port they desperately needed. The only set back was the fact Ukraine wouldn't fold, and how badly corrupt the Russian became. Then how that corruption ruined along with poor planning utterly destroyed any chance for an easy victory. Russians keep fighting, because Russians like Americans will do whatever the government demands. Russia dug their own gave with NATO. Any fool can see that. Their history and current behavior has seen that if you are near Russia you better have a good military alliance or else you will eventually be invaded by Russia for nothing.
