Microwave or coffee machine. Why buy an other product? Just be careful with the microwave as you can super heat the water and it will explode.

@letitiakearney2423 That's odd and must be your water or container. In the dozens upon dozens of different microwaves I've used to boil water I've never seen any residue unless I didn't clean the cup well and there was soap residue left. Microwaves don't leave radiation anymore than your cell and various other forms of radtion. Your electric kettle also gives off radiation just in a different wave length. I assure you are perfectly safe unless you're standing next to one that is broken with the power on - that isn't healthy but it is not contaminating your food in any amounts even worth noticing. We are bombarded by all forms of radiation via electronics and natural occurrences at every moment of our waking lives.

Only makes sense for a portable one like for a car. Why? While I can't stand them for food the microwave is great for boiling water or heating up liquids quickly. Just be careful to not super heat it. In theroy you can make the water hotter than possible with a lid and only allowing some steam to escape! Let's not forget there are coffee machines that heat up and have a resevour to keep water hot and you can put your T Bag in while it's brewing and then put it into the cup. So yeah Americans generally have a microwave, coffee maker, and stove. All three can be used for different purposes too. No need for an other niche appliance Blah this video made me thirsty but I have liver and kidney failure so am forced to limit my liquids to a mere 20-32 ounces a day which includes food... Fucking ascities. You guys are so lucky I could smack a child right now if it allowed me to just be able to drink all I please for one day. Ironic isn't ? I will die from drinking, and die thirsty wishing I could just drink tea, coffee, chocolate milk, and juice to my heart's content.

Just use your microwave or buy a coffee machine that can hold a reservoir with heated water so you have something with multiple uses. Can put your tea bags in the K cup holder for my machine and then I dip it in when done. Wish I didn't suffer so quickly from ascities. I could go for some rasberry lemonade iced tea right now but it has no calories, carbs, or protein. You guys have no idea how much it sucks having to limit yourself to 20-32 ounces of liquid a day. 3.5l. Have to account for liquid in food too like fruits. Damn shouldn't have watched the video haha.

You don't own a microwave? Coffee maker?

Why have the extra appliance. I hate the microwave for heating food but it's great for boiling water and such. It's much faster but be very careful not to super heat it as that will cause it to explode. (You can actually make water hotter than possible. It goes subcritical!) Most Americans have a microwave, coffee maker which is basically the same thing, and stove. No need for something so niche. Unless there are ones that have some fancy option or something I don't understand it. Now for the workplace? Sure maybe but again you can buy a coffee machine that keeps hot water on tap. A portable version for cars I can understand. Too bad cars no longer have the lighter thingy. (Hell do newer cars have any outlet outside of USB C?)
