I don't think so. Terrence is literally ignoring a lot of what Eric is saying when he is pointing out what is wrong, and just literally firing back his own ideas. I don't think he is digesting what Eric is telling him. He is shrugging it off, and fighting with semantics plus philosophy every time. Especially in the 1x1=2 argument. PS: Eric sucks at explaining multiplication. It is about adding what is inside groups. I bought two packs of beers with 6 beers in each. How many beers total? 12. So 2 packs with 6 beers equates to 2x6=12. Well we drank nearly all the beers so now we have one pack with one beer left. How many beers? Just ONE beer, because we don't count the pack, Terrence! 1x1=1. I go home with the pack of one beer. I drink that last beer. Yet still have the pack. So how many beers are left? Ah yes, ZERO. 1X0=0.

Multiplication is simply about adding what is inside a group together. I have two cases of beer with six beers in each. How many beers do I have? Twevle! Which translates to 2x6. Now we drank nearly all the beers, so I go home, and grab the last pack. Now I only have a single pack with a single beer. One pack has one in it. So 1x1 = 1! Just ONE beer. I have ONE beer left Terrence damn it! Which is not enough beers for the stupidity you've unleashed onto the world. We aren't counting the packs, but the beers! Terrence and others are confused on what multiplying is about. They are making up their own mathematical arithmetic, and calling it multiplication. They simply don't know the language, and due to this. Terrence went down a rabbit hole minstranslating everything due to weak fundlementals he built his thoughts on. Then his arrogance cannot concede his whole shtick is built off a foundation of LIES.

@PricelessLime When did Eric actually threaten Terrence. Better yet what did he say exactly? Genuine question. I watched most of the Podcast till I stopped after being tired of Terrence whining that math was wrong, and wasn't understood. When he in fact was the problem was just him either not explaining his ideas. (which I think may have been an excuse at times. Other times legitimate.. Or that he was the one who didn't want to listen or understood. I did see some of the clips of the so called threats, but after further investigation it really wasn't. More like allegories on Eric's part. Funnily enough Eric was misunderstood for sure too. He doesn't seem like a good teacher at all. Think he forgot Terrence wasn't some PHD student taught by Academia. His multiplying explanation was so overly complicated it was mind boggling. Anyway I only watched like 55-70%. So I could be wrong. I think Eric did a phenomenal job trying his best to make work of Terrence. His patience infinitely better than 99% of what any expert in any field would deal with - when basically an armchair amateur comes in trying reinvent the wheel saying an entire school of thought for centuries is wrong. Saying the greats before him are wrong. I mean I find it very far fetched anything Terrence said will unlock anything. Again I think he should make some experiments to prove some of the math. Even Einstein wasn't god like famous till people started proving his theories. While he released special relativity in like 1905. Then released his followup General Theroy. It wasn't till 1919 till Sir Eddington famously proved it during an eclipse with an experiment using gravitational lensing with light being bent.

@illens08 Exactly my point. He should've dumbed it down for Terrence who is clearly struggling with the concept. Or worse the seemingly thousands who actually somehow believed Terrence. It isn't helping them, and he said he came onto the show to basically fix the wrongs. I can't believe I ever had to type that. So many people struggling with 1st grade mathematics it seems.
