  1. I was only 3 years old, on my family's ranch in rural Montana. Only time I ever saw Dad cry. Mom took us into the storm shelter to protect from bombs. Heard they were targeting farms next. I'll never forget the pungent odor of thermite in the air that morning... Never forget. 😢
