A bigger war would give the excuse that the gold just simply disappeared. Even worse considering England's desperate economic state. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I guess Milei doesn't work for Argentina.

It's better to throw cheaper non-stealth planes en-masse at enemy missile defenses and that would still be very costly. A major chunk of the fighters will be taken out before getting air-borne. Remember also that both sides have fighters which can target multiple enemies simultaneously. Russia has high tech and produces their own equipment. Remember they also jumpstarted Chinese military tech. They're not a military to underestimate.

  34. China is not letting up in its economic onslaught. Both sides are playing hard ball. Maybe I'm being naive because this is geopolitics but there has to be some compromise. I've not seen anything in the news to show that this has happened. Only aggression. China's 'mutual benefit' strategy is rhetoric. They're running us to the ground.

We didn't look beyond 30 years. Don't get me wrong, the US aren't saints. Out of all countries the Chinese have in addition to their grievances, to thank us. This is an extreme form of warfare. This has to stop at some point. The US has to step down too. The Chinese are showing the world how to do capitalism better but at some point in the future, it too will sour. Their dominance will last about as long as US dominance, less than a century. Or, maybe they can prove us wrong, prove humanity wrong, by doing something never achieved before. Global mutualism(?) We'll see. One key indicator will be how they treat their immediate neighbours like S. Korea, Pakistan, Japan, India etc.

Here's some news for you buddy: we're not. You've most likely never stepped out of the US. Haven't been up to date wcthe latest geopolitical events. Hint: our population is (only) 350 million. That of the world is much more than that and over half of it prefers China. Our own so-called allies are our subjects and the relationship there is constantly at risk, esp. if we don't maintain them constantly. Just a heads up in treading the future. For what it's worth, I've been there too, know where you're at. In any case, no matter what, I'm a firm believer in America's potential for greatness and contribution to the world. The present America imo doesn't reflect that. I believe and will always hope that it will one day, again. Imo, it's an existential matter. There's a reason why the world is round. It's because we MUST learn from each other. Or we we won't make it. That's what I believe.
