@thelordofcringe 'What extra capabilities does a military drone have?' Hmm...take out armoured vehicles, endanger military personnel, link with a broader network, autonomous targeting, remote guidance from very far...just some ideas.

@Duransurik Our subs, satellites, stealth are the ones to beat although not sure if they've fully caught up or not. They serve as an effective deterrent, not to mention nuclear missiles. Imo neither side will want direct kinetic war w the other. But the idea of war sells. Crises sell. We've made a killing selling arms to East Asia and Rast Europe. If any side had an edge, it would have to be at least 2 generations ahead, or more. It would need to be able to stop 99.9% of the incoming onslaught of thousands of nuclear missiles. As great as they say the S-400 is for example, it is nowhere up to such a task. No anti-missile defense is, not even close. No wars. We're not that stupid and neither are they. Only proxy wars.

@hansjorgkunde3772 Civilian drones can do this as well? Nope. Just because it does things doesn't mean it's AI. Sorry. 'AI' 🤭🤡 *You can see them being used in Ukraine already by the Russians. Are those operated by AI as well? Is a Tesla car AI? Is a chess computer AI? nope. Are we even remotely close to having a semi-conscious machine? Nope. In fact we're not even interested in spite of what they say. That's how far we are from 'AI'.
