@Governmentdocz seriously? The US itself cannot defeat China. But you think the Philippines have a chance? Or you're being cynical. Escalation is no good. Because for the first time in history, conventional non-nuclear war can easily find its way to the US mainland. That means the Chinese and/or the Russians have the capability of turning your nearest city into Gaza, within a handful of minutes launched from subs. They will be mass producing missiles that can do the same thing launched from the opposite side of the globe. We have no such capability so far. Or, they can launch their own proxy wars against us directly threatening our mainland instead of just overseas. Maybe it's not a time to be cynical.
