@geofractal They have learned the hard way. It's hard for them to forget about the last 2 centuries.

@ceeinthesky1068 they should tank. They're overpriced. The Chinese ev's are at least 50% cheaper but they would have a 100% tariff if sold in the States. At half price, the people who prefer normal cars would buy them.

@L98fiero the weak become strong and vice versa. Never ends. Now that the globe has become small, this law is coming to a head and humans will be forced to grow up further.

@ceeinthesky1068 yeah. Exactly. Our elites are corporate fascists in bed w a country that does capitalism better. That's another scam. Underneath the thin veil of 'democracy' is fascism and underneath that is feudalism. The deepest part of this layer is coming to an end, after millennia. (It resides in Europe.)

@MSDGroup-ez6zk True. China will grow it's middle class to almost 300 million (290 million) from it's rural population within the next decade. China sells most of it's products to it's own middle class and less than 20% are exported. Yeah, its game over for US global dominance. What do you make of the war rhetoric? Nonsense as long as US corporations are there. I would start worrying when they leave. Worry about first strike capabilites conventionally or new clear. China must be able to withstand the onslaught from US proxies in the Pacific. If they do enough damage, weaken China enough, the US will step in, just as in ww1 and 2. It doesn't look like that will happen though. Even the new clear first strike option speels doom for all. I'm guessing that China will find a way to avoid the MAD situation in the future. Yeah, game over for US dominance. The world is round for a reason. We must learn from each other. China must remember that too because it can easily fall into the same trap as the US has been in. We all need each other. We need both countries when it comes to interstellar geopolitics in the future. We need everyone. We need to evolve as a species, learn true peace, get past empire. If not, we will not be ready to face the superior beings who have. They will conquer us the way Cortez conquered the Aztecs.

Mexico wants California and Texas back. China and Russia were in their last military parade. Ukraine 2.0 is a 50/50 possibility.

@davidfitzpatrick4041 The US have ready their own separate system. That still doesn't answer this question though. It implies a rift in the West.

@theblackdog2399 In this case, the US outsourced their rare earths production to the Chinese as did Europe. They have environmental hazards associated with its mining. You can guess what they said about China next. But the big one is kinetic war w China as they are a threat. Our elites are in bed w China's middle class. So rather, our corporations would have to leave first, and then our proxies like Ukraine would do the fighting. Depending on how things are going, we might step in, or not, depending on how weakened China becomes. Same is in ww1 and 2. Actually scratch that, China is too strong, there are newks, and eventually China will find a way to win them.

@theblackdog2399 Russia bad, China bad. That's 150 million + another 1.2 billion bad. Because they're green blooded. (But your corporations prefer the Chinese). Never mind, arm the Eastern Pacific to its teeth, for moral reasons.
