It depends on your attitude and beliefs. It turns into reality. Don't be polarised over less important issues. The fight is to have others share your position. There already are many.

@GLOW_IN_THE_DARK_CIA_NIBBAS there is. Not being polarized is a major step. You could argue it is the only step. It gets the people and the elites to focus on the real problems. It won't solve them outright but it will take the proper course to deal with them. It will bring more regional stability and hence global stability. The Western elites prefer the larger middle class, that if China. Isn't it funny how they say China bad but what is Apple, Starbucks, Tesla etc. doing there then? China good for Western elites. The Chinese don't appreciate this either. They will use the outcompeting method to send our corporations back home. They won't come home. They'd rather go to India, or Africa, or another country with cheap labour. They don't like such solutions. It's not an existential question or a dystopian one as their films and media constantly try to show. Far from it. But they would be downgraded in comparison to their neighbours:elites from other countries esp.,China. God forbid they open up neighbourhoods in Africa.
