@MadMariuss How can you cover the flanks when the pocket only about 20 miles wide? what about defending from artillery and other projectiles? even tanks? do they use armored umbrellas? They were goaded into this. The Russians were most likely surprised they made this move. They should be careful with the bridges to its rear. I'm not sure the Russians would even destroy them.

@MadMariuss you realize a person can flip your arguments to favor the Russians? That pocket is about 50km deep and 20km wide. Its also near the Russian border. Just 2 things which stick out at first glance. The formation of the bridgehead was met with little resistance. Thats the question mark you address but I'm not sure. Obviously this weakness was no secret to either side.
