  4.  @tf4665  There is still g*nocide in the world today and people that support it, there is still slavery today and people that support it, women are second class citizens in many countries today and many people here in the US want to bring those gender rolls back, tf are you talking about. All the messed up things that are in the Bible and during the time it was written happens today and are still very much part of our public discourse. Tf are you talking about?

You are making the argument that events of the Bible were from ancient times and with entirely different circumstances despite the fact that all the horrible things that we see in the Bible are still seen today with very similar circumstances in terms of what leads to those things happening. So no it’s not wide apart from the issues we have today. Religious hatred, sl*very, *enocide, ch*ld marriage, e*tunic cleansing, religious fundamentalism and control of the population, ethnic hatred. All of that are issues we still have today that are seen in the Bible. And people who are far right religious regardless of its Christianity or any other religion support it if it suits their beliefs.

All things that are in the Bible in terms of what I listed are issues that are still problems in the world today with similar circumstances. So saying that it happened a long time ago is a dumb argument.
