@samnelsen7658 Exactly. You show no remose for what you have done then you are getting a stiffer penalty. Contrition is the proper word and judges look for it in determining a sentence.

@illuminatedcrosshairs7865 Clearly you don't understand the law and its concepts. And you've lost all consciousness of the topic at hand. It's the behavior of the the two defendants (Loughlin and Huffman) that's being questioned. The courts want to be clear that any crime shouldn't be taken lightly, and without remorse and contrition the court is looking at a repeat offender who needs heavier sentencing. Some of us have received a speeding ticket one time or another. Loughlin would say, "oh was I speeding?" Whereas Huffman would say, "I'm sorry, I should have slowed down." As well as the fact Loughlin was going way faster than Huffman. Cost of Loughlin's ticket goes way up! Capishe?

@illuminatedcrosshairs7865 Wow you clearly have your head in the sand! Neither Republican or Democrat, don't care for either. America deserves better! Its all over the place of Loughlin's behavior. Pre and post arraignment Loughlin was smiling, laughing and signing autographs and has pled not guilty. Not to mention her daughter giving the bird to everyone in a photograph. If that doesn't spell arrogance and defiance of the law, then tell us what is???? Gotta go have work to-do...
