  1. I don't get why people who are not farmers or construction workers buy pickup trucks, especially with double cab. The cabin is small, the bed is short. I would consider a small single-cab long bed pickup, but this is neither here nor there.

  5. What is the appeal of the Maverick? When it was introduced, it was the cheapest non-mini sized vehicle, not just the cheapest pickup truck. It is not anymore. Its cabin is small for a crossover SUV. Its bed is short. It tows less than many cars. It is huge compared to the original Ranger. I see it as a transportation for a four-person pool-cleaning team. A RAV-4 Hybrid is a better for everyday use, and for carrying stones or concrete mix you can buy a trailer for just $400 with 1,500 lbs load capacity.
