The 2003 Matrix looks better and is more functional: plastic luggage floor with rails, flat loading surface with rear seatbacks down, front passenger seatback can be pushed down too, rear hatch window can be opened separately. This iM one is just one of many hatchbacks... Blah. And the "sporty" skirts are hideous.
