  1. The Bolt has the same stupid paddles for regenerative braking, which also somehow affects regular brakes, I almost got in an accident when I was test-driving the Bolt. In any case, gasoline cars with manual transmission do not have these paddles, but they can do engine braking. Want to coast? Keep the accelerator pedal in the middle, neither accelerate nor engine-brake. Same can be done with these electric cars. I think that these paddles only muddle things, it is like having both a gun and a taser, and you can confuse one for another, oops.
