  1. Did Australia pray for Iraq as well? I guess not, considering that "Australia joined a US-led coalition in its 2003 Iraq invasion, widely viewed as illegal under international law," quoting from Wikipedia. Putin is making you guys look good, but make no mistake, you are not much better.

  2. Sadly, Western help will only prolong the agony. Ukraine is a pawn, and the West does not want to get incinerated because of Ukraine, at least I hope it does not. Putin will not back down, so there are three choices: someone takes him out and makes peace with Ukraine - impeachment would be the best case, but Russian parliament is made of meek yes-men, so this will never happen. Or, Putin brings the whole Ukraine back into the Russian empire, at least the world at large would be spared. Or, cornered because he does not have enough ground forces, Putin presses the big red button, now this would be unfortunate. The same outcome is likely if the West decides to provide "real help" to Ukraine.
