  1. Way to look at that is how many gallons will an hours wages buy, for you it seed to be about 4 1/2 gallon. my first job paid 3.35, gas was $.78 a gallon so about the same. to match that today you'd have to make about about $15 an hour.

  4. Im wymar Germany Hyperinflation devalued the mark so much so fast ,workers insisted on being paid daily since by weeks end the original wage was worthless and even restaurants would charge before serving ( that was unheard of in those days, they didnt have fast food) for the same reason.
