  2.  @gailmiller6333  46% of trucks are owned by the drivers, If only half of them refused loads to NY then they would have major issues. Brokers will have to sweeten the pot to get the rest to deliver there, driving up frieght costs and therein driving up final sales prices.

  4. Thats exactly why,back in the day, fed wage went from $3.35 to just over $4 and hour before it went to $5.15. a large jump creates shock in the market.

  7. My dad was a trucker from the late 60s to the late 80s. Truckers NEVER liked going to NYC. Dad did it because it paid more.
