@gailmiller6333 46% of trucks are owned by the drivers, If only half of them refused loads to NY then they would have major issues. Brokers will have to sweeten the pot to get the rest to deliver there, driving up frieght costs and therein driving up final sales prices.

My dad was a trucker from the late 60s to the late 80s. Truckers NEVER liked going to NYC. Dad did it because it paid more.

NYC destroyed itself. They needed a $400 million for an urban reinvestment scheme. Funny thats the exact amount they they just happened to levy on Trump.
