  4. less than 40 mpg?? i had a 61 dart that got 35mpg (and also quite peppy.) and my dad had a mid 80s VW diesel wagon (non turbo so it did lag a bit) that got 48-52 mpg.

  5. well they seem to be on the right track. putting bells and whistles on this is like chroming a pinto. It seems to be aimed at the basic car crowd (who seem to have been ignored for a long time). Now make a small dependable truck in the same vein.
