  1. Ive been 100% offgrid solar for 11 1/2 years. Its not perfect but it beats paying for power. It does require a lifestyle change. still , with the drawbacks , i wouldnt go back to buying power.

  3. that is the promary reason i stay with lead acid for my offgrid property. Here in West texas the temps can be from -10 to 124f and all my research says those extremes make standard lithium batteries problematic.

  8.  @EkanVitki  big reason im still lead acid in my solar power system. Aside from lithium has problems with extreme temps, my $1200 lead acid system would cost 3x more if it were lithium. i get 7-10 years off a set of GC batteries. so a battery that has 2x life costs 3x, not a bargain
