@pedanticchicken2117 You are welcome to do so. But what you are complaining about is what the US ACTIVELY sought for 70 years. Discouraging the Europeans from seriously rearming, because the US, strategically, wanted minions, not competitors. Did you ever wonder why NATO has statutory a US military supreme commander? Why, only UK and France have nuclear weapons in western Europe (and the UK ones are on loaned US missiles that don't work)? Do you think that the others are not able to build them? US persuaded the other European countries ONE BY ONE to not build a nuclear deterrent, telling them that European defense was US's job. The real reason 35.000 US soldiers are in Germany, and 12.000 in Italy, is to make sure that the US keep their word, and don't abandon the allies if things go south (unfortunately the Ukrainians gave away their 1700 nuclear warheads without having learnt the trick).

Why you didn't mention the elephant in the room? Private healthcare, too expensive for many to use. Many don't see a doctor until it's too late, or can't afford the treatments anyway.

China has so far delivered 56 million doses to Africa, of which 9 millions donated. COVAX has delivered 55 million doses to Africa. All of them free.

@SAYED-MOHAMMAD-AKBAR It's nice to know someone who can believe Trump's crap so easily. U.S. has so far allocated about $121 billion compared with about $140 billion from Europe. Europe has already committed further $122 billion, vs. almost nothing for US. $9 billion (out of $121 billion) of US assistance and $91 billion (out of $ 262 billion) of European assistance had been provided in form of loans (european ones with 10 years grace period and 35 years payment period). So, without even considering the loans, US aided Ukraine for $ 112 billion and EU for $ 171 billion. I think Ukrainians would be ecstatic if the US would match EU's aid. loans included.
