  1. Oh my god. That's worse than "Troy". Catapults and trebuchets in 1453? Cavalry throwing spears over the walls? A battering ram in 15th century? Why those archers are standing in the open between the battlements?

Alfonso was openly an ally of the Imperials, so it was not a betrayal. Federico II Gonzaga, first Duke of Mantova, allowed the Germans to pass the Po river. That was a betrayal, since he was nominally an ally of the Pope, even if his simpaties for the Empire were well known.
