"how to reintroduce problems that other weapons solved decades ago"."why you should to not copy other people's designs before understanding them first"."how to introduce problems none had before". etc.) and none can be provided to Ukraine, because practically there were no samples left in working conditions in US arsenals already in the '80s. The damn thing had been taken out of the readiness checklist of US infantry units in the '80s, otherwise the majority of US units would have not been deemed ready for action.

It's guided bombs. Russians converted a lot of unguided aerial bombs into gliding guided ones, that can be launched from out of the MANPADS range. They are now arguably their most effective weapon on the frontline.
