  1. It would't beat "the curent title holder, Turkey's Çanakkale Bridge by over a kilometre", but by over 1.6 kilometres, that means it would be 80% longer. The span of the bridge would be as long as that of the longest current bridge and the fifth longest (Xihoumen Bridge in China, opened in 2009) put toghether.
