  1. She was supplying poison to people that wanted to kill other people. The alleged motivations are just the ones one likes more. Even of the only client we know the name of, the Duchess of Ceri, there's no evidence at all she was beaten by her husband. (it's actually pretty improbable, being her of a noble family as well).
