  1. It simply arrived in Italy first. Spain is following Italy at a week distance. And their healt care system already appears more overwelmed than than the Italian one ever was. France is a little better but, profiting from the Italian example, they shut down a pair of days in advance (Italy and Spain shut down when they had less than 8000 recorded cases. France when it had a little over 5000), and that made the difference. US... well. They have already suspasses Italy as number of active cases, and probably will surpass Italy as number of total cases today. Simply the growth of cases that Italy had in three weeks, US had in one, so patients had not the time to die.

  2. America just received half a million test kits form China, half a million from Italy and half a million from Turkey (not American test kits seems to have become good lately).

  3.  @Aaqe  People needs two weeks to die on average after the diagnosys. The increase in cases that Italy had in three weeks, US had in less than one. That's why the number of deaths is still low there.
