Sorry, but your reason for the prices to drop (a lot more high end cars manufactured starting from the '90s) doesn't make sense.
First of all, it applies only to models that aren't classic already. There is no reason for the price of an Urraco, to say one, to fall for that. There are already a lot of old '60s and '70s cars that doesn't command high prices, because they are too common, or thecnically not interesting, while an Honda NSX (almost 14.000 built in the nineties, so not even that rare) command prices over 100.000 $.
Second, a lot more Porsche had been built starting from the '90s, because a lot more people could afford them, and that applies to future classics too.
