  1. For the western romance languages speakers is very difficult to understand spoken Romanian, cause the pronunciation is very different. A similar thing happens between Italian and French. For an untrained Italian is actually even easier to read a French text than a Spanish one, but spoken French is unintelligible, cause the French pronunciation of the words is completely different from the Italian one.
