  1.  @alicianieto2822  Just look at the original New Mutants group (1982) compared to the original X-Men group (1963). Fact is that the goal of the New Mutants was not to "represent" Brazilians (Sunspot), Scottish (Wolfsbane) and so on. None of those characters represented other than himself. In those 20 years they simply understood that a more varied ensemble made for better stories and better visuals than the uniformity of 1963.
