  1. The Intramatic is, all in all, a very nice watch. But, when compared with the original 1969 Chron-o-matic (that was the nicest of the Caliber 11 users), it's uglier. The hands, and indexes are both heavier-looking and less clear to read. In the 1969 watch, despite the presence of the date window, the dial was not "busy" at all. It was perfectly clean, because everything was perfectly dimensioned.
