  2. It's NOT a "training technique". He's not giving the dog any time to follow him. He only suddenly turn and pull. What he's doing is to MIS-train the dog, confusing him and ruining the previous training. Also, that was supposed to be a sniffing dog. Sniffers do their job by roaming a little. That dog is not doing his job if all he has to pay attention to, at any moment, is to remain attached to the hadler whatever sudden movement he decides to do.
