Hannibal's brothers, the other Carthagenean generals, Scipio's father, Fabius, Marcellus, Nero, the Numidians, Archimedes... and many locations other than Rome and Carthage (Syracuse, Capua, Cartagena...). There is material for many seasons.

  5. That "Hannibal was not in its normal self" is an incredibly naive argument. For much of the Italian Campaign Hannibal "had not been his normal self". He avoided the clash, or accepted limited defeats, every time he was not absolutely sure to have the perfect terrain-weather-preparation to achieve a decisive victory. Simply at that point he couldn't avoid the battle and wait for a better occasion.
