A complete protective gear (disposable hazmat suit, disposable N95 mask, eyewear and gloves), not the best possible, but better than what 99% of healtcare workers are currently using costs about $10. It's a ridicolous fraction of what hospitals charges every day for a single bed. How it's possible that the staff doesn't at least have that level of protection?

With 5568 recorded cases and 308 deaths, The virus in Sweden seems to be even more lethal that it was in Italy. But that's explained by the fact that Sweden isn't doing many tests, so the number of real cases is probably higher.
