  2. Germany has actually more people in ICU units than Italy. It has more ICU units as well (larger population) and the virus does not hit evenly. Some area is much more affected than others.

  5. Yeah, but the healtcare system would not be able to treat all of the patients, since you have all of them concentrated in a shorter amount of time. That means that many lives that would have otherwise been saved, would have instead been lost simply for lack of treatment.
