  1. Russian communicates are bogus, but the drones exploding on the ground in particular is not an evidence of not having been intercepted. The splinters of a proximity fuse shell or missile rarely ignite the explosive charge on the drone (TNT is very stable). They mostly damages the drone engine and controls, rip off wings etc. Secondary explosions, or explosions too big to be justified by the drone fuel (mostly depleted at that point) and charge are a sign that the actual target had been hit.
