The only war they know how to fight. That vs. unarmed civilians.

The second one was overkill. Frame by frame you can see the blast of the first explosion coming off the barrel of the gun (the autoloader keeps the breech open when not in use), so there had already been complete penetration.

@alexkalish8288 I repeat for who's clueless. If you can see the blast of the explosion coming off the barrel of the gun (whose breech is INTO the turret) it means that the turret HAD ALREADY BEEN PENETRATED and any crew member inside the tank HAD ALREADY BEEN TOASTED. BTW ERA plates are very scarcely effective if they are hit 90° by the shaped charge (like in this case). They need to be angled, to project a longer stretch of their liner into the jet of the shaped charge, to disrupt it effectively.

The tactic is to arrive, prepare the guns, fire at the intended target (first round is within 60m from the target, second is on target), unpack and leave before being spotted. Russians takes much more to fire back.

@vladpryshlyak2025 In reality, like WWII bombers had to discharge their load before landing in any case (it would have been too dangerous to land with some tons of bombs inside the fuselage), I think those drones have to discharge their load in any case as well. I surely would prefer to NOT recover my drone with a grenade still dangling under it.

They did wait for the tanker to pass I see.

Beretta made MG42/59.

@target8970 It's a Beretta made MG42/59. You can spot it by the muzzle booster, with two different sets of holes, of different diameter.

@a564-c3q It's a Beretta made MG42/59. You can spot it by the muzzle booster, with two different sets of holes, of different diameter. It reduces the fire rate by reducing the pressure in the muzzle booster (second set of holes), while Rehinmetal does it with an heavier bolt.

It seems like it went out of the road exactly to step on the mine.

A BTR-4 probably.

There was a pack of hungry tractors roaming around.

It's a Beretta-made MG42/59. You can spot it by the peculiar muzzle booster (cylindrical, with two sets of holes of different diameter, different from both those of the MG3 and MG42), and the lack of the flip-up AA sight of the MG3. ;)
2
Are the ammos inside the tank that explode that way.
2
@Michael Ivanov The autoloader keeps the breech open when not in use. You can see multiple videos showing the blast of an internal explosion coming off the gun. The ford crossing capability of the T72 without preparation is 1.2m, same for the T90.
2
At 0:24, and in the thumbnail, a Beretta-made MG42/59.

By the look of it, maybe the driver had not been fast enough.

@MarkyMark2177 mg42/59 виробництва Beretta

Two actually, even if the one in front seems to collapse at the end of the video. Even in the best case however I bet at least their eardrums didn't survive.

@target8970 No. I already explained in what the Beretta MG42/59 differs from the MG42 and MG3.
