  2. People need time to get worse and die. Those that die today had been diagnosed with covid-19 from one to five weeks ago. Thats why the rapid growth of cases in the US masks the real death rate. The total number of deaths had to be compared with the number of cases of at least 10 days ago to have a more realistic death rate.

  4. You can make a mask by yourself (I did). Youtube is full of tutorials to make them, mostly Koreans (and it's enough to see their numbers to see that they works). Two layers of 100% cotton T-shirt already offer a good compromise between protection and breathability, and are indefintely whashable.
