@cartoon80s90s It's not like this that it works. Only an insignificant fraction of the money you spend in a Lidl or in a Ikea go to the country where the company has its headquarters. Almost all goes to the workers, suppliers, bills (water, electricity...) local taxes of the shop, national taxes of the local organization (there are a Lidl Italy, Lidl France, Lidl Spain ecc... that pay their taxes in the respective countries)... Italian Lidl shops are full of Italian products, and Italy is the second largest Ikea products supplier after China.
