  1. +FutureParadise looking to the reliability index made by those that put their money in it (Warranty Direct), Fiat's engines are more reliable than Mazda's.

  2. For a REAL reliability index, look to the ones that PUT THEIR MONEY in it, IE that of Warranty Direct. Current days Fiats are more reliable than WV, and even of some of the Japanese (IE Subaru and Mitsubishi). The general reliability of Fiat is still a little worse than that of Mazda, but, looking to the single parts, their engines (that't the part they put in this car) ARE MORE RELIABLE than those of Mazda.

  3.  @ag4allgood  Engines run exactly as hot as the cooling system allows them. A native turbo Engine has a correctly dimensioned radiator.

  4.  @ag4allgood  Any car is in big trouble if it has cooling problems, and it's not difficult to find owners complaining for any car.
