  1. Armando Araujo Catholic church doesn't teach the world is 6000 years old. Actually several catholic priests had been appreciated paleontologists. The position of the catholic church towards science is that the Bible is not a scientific text, so on one side scientific findings don't conflict with it, on the other, what's written in the Bible can't be imposed in a scientific debate. Are the various Evangelic churches that have problems with science.

  2. 100 years ago you would have believed in a different absolute moral code, because you would have considered normal several things that are now considered wrong and vice-versa.
