The fact that none wants to be the first to be hit by them. Things that I didn't see here. An hour of physical confrontation, with several injured cops ("so cops are free game! We can injure them without retaliation!") before seeing the first smoke bomb. Not even an attempt at charging. Only trying to hold the line standing still.

  5. Riot Police is armed AS AN EXTREME MEASURE, TO DEFEND THE OFFICER'S OWN LIFE. The real strenght of riot police, that allow them to get rid of protesters that are ALWAYS several times their number, is discipline and cohordination.   6. Actually US received half a million test kits from China, half a million from Italy (they never run out of them) and half a million from Turkey, few days ago. China delivered ventilators to Italy and Spain (the situation in italy is better than in Spain actually, since one of the four world manufacturers of mechanical ventilators is in italy).
