The firing pin block IE (do not forget that, for the gun to discharge inintentionally, not only the sear but the firing pin block has to fail too) is probably the most unsafe firing pin block design I ever seen. The block and the striker are engaged for a surface smaller than 0.8X2mm and cut at an angle favourable to disengage it.

  4.  @OtiumBorealis  The only modularity required in the contract specification was, for the two-pistols bids, to have interchangeable magazines. It doesn't have anything to do with a chassis system.
