It's possible, but difficult. First of all, rifle sights are made to compensate for the bullet drop on a horizontal line. The more high you shoot, the more they overcompensate. So you are not likely to hit anything. Then, much of the drone is not very sensible to rifle projectiles. The only vulnerable part is the control unit. When it's so close to the target, a drone doesn't really need his engine (it can glide), the control surfaces are actuated by few cables, and some hole on them is just a nuisance. Fuel is hardly ignited by a rifle projectile fired from afar, and even the explosive of the warhead is likely to be too stable to be ignited by a projectile.
