@command_unit7792 Really not. Mariupol had been encircled because (other than the Ukrainians not having even mobilised before the war started, so they lost a lot of ground in the first hours) the Russians attacked it from two directions, Crimea and Donbass. They couldn't do the same with Karkhiv, despite Karkhiv being really close to the border, because, like for Odessa, they hadn't troops already back of the city.

@commoner_1 They are not tearing down Ukrainian fortifications in Donbass, nor they tore down those around Karkhiv. After the sinking of the Moskva, the Russian fleet had already been moved farther from the city.

Russians are actually losing ground around Karkhiv and Kherson, because they need to concentrate what remains of their forces in Donbass, and yet they are unable to make any significative progress there. Their chances to take Odessa are "0".

@erictsagiannidis4051 He can call million of reservists for that matter, but he can't call million of tanks, elicopters and aircrafts, because he's already scrapping the barrel of the equipment. Those reservists would be only cannon fodder "you have boots, you can fight".

From where the Russians are now and Transnistria there are 200kms, and from the north of Transnistria to the Belarusian border there are 350kms (about double the lenght of the entire Transnistria) passing right in the middle of Ukraine.

@DantesRiv The Ukrainians didn't mobilize, despite the warnings, in the futile attempt to not "provoke" the Russians (like the Russians are able to understand another language than being hit on the head with an hammer). What the ukrainians had IN the city is inconsequential on how the Russians came AROUND the city. What the Russians did at Mariupol, they had not been able to do anywere else, because they hadn't the possibility to attack Kiev, Karkhiv, Odessa or even Mikolaiv from the back.

@kshitizbhargav5499 Can't post links on youtube comment section. You can easily find the maps of the situation on the ground now compared with that of 15 days ago. (LIVEcantevenpostthecompletenameUAMAP). Russians lost more ground around Kherson and Karkhiv than what they gained around Kramatorsk.

@DantesRiv So profiting from the fact that Ukraine had not yet mobilized to advance rapidly, surrounding the city from two direction (Donbass and Crimea)? Sorry, not going to work. Ukraine now HAS mobilized and there isn't a Crimea back of Odessa.
1
@DantesRiv Sorry, you can't pretend others to buy Russian propaganda.
1
@DantesRiv What you say you are and what you believe and try to sell are different things.
1
@CyprusTM You simply don't know what "mobilization" means. It happens.
1
@antyspi4466 Russia can mobilize, but not multiply their equipment. As for tanks, mobile artillery, helicopters, aircrafts... they are already scrapping the barrel.
